The amendments extend the record retention period by an additional two years for tax periods relating to a refund claim submitted prior to the expiry of the statute of limitations.

Research And Development Tax Incentives Programme

Qualifying Expenditure Threshold

Under the first phase of the programme, businesses will be able to benefit from a non-refundable R&D tax credit of up to 50% on qualifying expenditure of up to AED 5 million.

Birth Registration Period

Parents holding Indian passports should register birth of their children born in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain with the Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi within a period of one year of the birth.
